Artist Ken Richards is a self-taught artist who has been painting professionally since 1992. He now lives in Mykonos, Greece and New Bedford, MA. His Greek Landscapes are what first called attention to his artwork. Private showings in Athens, Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles and Charleston, SC and Southhampton, NY resulted in an international reputation for colorful, lively and bold paintings, all acrylic on canvas or linen. His paintings are now in private collections all over the world. Ken is also a musician having played with such bands as Marianne Faithful's group, The Stunners, and now with Pearly Baker Band.
Butch McCarthy is a self-taught artist who has been doing remarkably work in the New Bedford area for a number of years. Butch's artwork is a look at ordinary things through the eyes of an exceptional artist. He captures the essences of the local color of the city of New Bedford while blending his own personal interpretation. Butch is also one of the most talented singer-songwriters to come out of the music scene in New Bedford. He's been doing it for years.
Artist, Author, and Musician Peter Stone received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978 from the Claremont Colleges. His undergraduate theses in Marine Biology and Studio Art provided an early foundation his book Waltzes with Giants. Since 1983, he has presented more than sixty solo shows and over one hundred group exhibitions at galleries and museums in the United States, Canada, and England. Peter is also an accomplished musician and songwriter. Peter plays piano, saxophone, flute, guitar, and has an amazing voice. He currently performs with the band Blu Lobsta.
